Charles Sickles

Charles Sickles is Executive Vice President, Head of Distribution at Advisors Asset Management (AAM).

In this role, Charles is responsible for creating and executing the sales strategy for AAM’s full suite of asset management investment solutions, as well as directing the field activities of AAM’s national external and internal wholesaling teams. Charles joined AAM from BlackRock, where he served as Northeast Divisional Director for the Merrill Lynch channel. Prior to BlackRock, Charles served in a variety of senior leadership roles over the course of a 25-year career at Merrill Lynch, including his final role as National Sales Manager for the Managed Solutions Group. Charles began his career in the financial services industry in 1989, and has obtained the Series 7, 66 and 24 licenses in addition to being a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) since 2008.

Jonathan Boring

Jonathan Boring "JB" is Senior Vice President, Divisional Sales Manager at Advisors Asset Management (AAM).

With over 30 years of industry experience, Jonathan Boring joined Advisors Asset Management from Guggenheim Investments where he was the Eastern Divisional Sales Manager. He formerly worked at Merrill Lynch as a Managed Solutions Specialist and player coach. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Jonathan worked at Smith Barney as Head of Products and Distribution for ERISA plans and also in the Smith Barney Asset Management division. Jonathan got started in the industry in 1992 as a financial advisor with Prudential Securities. He is a CIMA certified investment management analyst as well as an accredited investment fiduciary. Jonathan attended University of Maryland, majoring in Finance. He also spent eight years in the United States Air Force.
