Advisors Asset Management Appoints Christopher Genovese as Director of RIA Services

MONUMENT, COLO. – May 4, 2016 – Advisors Asset Management (AAM) has appointed Christopher Genovese as Director of RIA Services and he will be based in New York.

“This appointment reflects our commitment to meet the evolving needs of the RIA and family office communities in a consultative way,” said Andrew S. Williams, President of AAM. “Chris’s extensive experience in working with RIAs and family offices and his understanding of their unique needs are a tremendous asset to our firm as we look to expand and strengthen our relationships with financial advisors.”

Mr. Genovese added, “I’m excited about the opportunity to deepen AAM’s relationships with RIA and family offices. The firm already has long-standing relationships in these market segments, but many of our contacts don’t yet know the full range of AAM’s capabilities. I’m looking forward to changing that.”

Mr. Genovese brings over 25 years of experience in financial services. He joined AAM in 2001 as executive vice president managing the firm’s New York office and one of its advisor service teams. Prior to joining AAM, he specialized in fixed-income sales at Stover Glass & Co, Inc. He has also held research analyst positions at Citi and Moody’s Investors Service. Mr. Genovese received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from Pennsylvania State University and earned his Master of Business Administration from the Lubin School of Business Administration at Pace University. He holds the Series 7, 24, 53, 63, 65 and 79 FINRA licenses.

Mr. Genovese is an active fundraiser for the New York Chapter of Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy, the “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” Foundation and most recently, The Diocese of Rockville Center Annual Telecare Golf Classic.
